<lj:music>1200 Techniques - Anybody Out There</lj:music>

well it's been a little while since i posted. haven't really be doing much except work. actually in my placement now, in corporate infrastructure. and this place is poo. i have to use this ultra complicated data management/reporting program called SAP, and they have absolutely NO training for it and very little documentation thats worthwhile, so i pretty much have to teach myself. fun. but at least ive got an excuse not to do any serious work for a while heh.

uni starts on monday, or to be more precises on wednesday for me. looking forward to it. went to uni bar last ngiht, was pretty good hey. imagine good old steves, except without the back bar and only half of the beer garden, and thats UCU bar. they have an extended licence on a friday night, to trade till like 3am and it gets pretty cranking. some nice ladies. and some not so nice ladies. but hey as my mate said "Any hole is a goal". i nearly threw up.

went to see the brumbies tonight, was awesome hey. the stadium was only half full, like 12, 000 people or something but it was great. they played dead set awful, until the last 15 minutes or so when larkham came on and they score 2 tries in the last 15 minutes to win by a converted try. cant wait to go during the regular season when they have the whole stadium packed. and they server $5 ted's...IN PLASTIC BOTTLES MAN! it freaked me out.

neeeed sleep. still suffering from insomnia.

peace

before i watched desperate housewives tonight, i watched a show called mythbusters on sbs. i dont know if any of you have ever watched it, but its awesome. these 2 crazy guys in america who are ex stunt builders and stuff like that, get paid money to run experiements on urban myths to see whether they are feasible or impossible.

anyways, they were doing one tonight on the myth that some guy electrocuted himself pissing on the electric train tracks at night. well anyways, it was about half an hour long and after that i chucked the most SATISFYING piss ever.

the end.

i miss my computer. i havent had it for like, a week and a half. im stuck listening to like, 6 year old mp3 cd's and stuff. damn my musical piracy and not having actual music cd's laying around.

heading into the second week of my cadetship. just been masses and masses and masses of information all at once. stuff about the ato and their values and stuff, ethics, department specific stuff. ugh. and i got another week of it. tho we get treated to a fancy shmancy lunch on friday (Y)(Y). ive been placed in the Corporate Infrastructure Building team of ATO Finance, which sounds pretty good. from the sounds of the operations that everyone has got, i've got one of the best so I hope it lives out to that.

its a shame there are only 2 chicks out of the 13 in the cadetship, and both of them don't really take my fancy, although they are nice girls. hope some of the postgrad recruitment chicks that start next week are good looking heh.

besides that, i got fuckall to talk about. was installing my dvd player in the rx7 and it was all going well until i tried getting the electric aerial to work. now pretty much nothing in the interior works. like the door lights and interior lights dont work now, which is a fucken pain in the arse. the fuse box is a pain in the ass to get to cause its right down the bottom of the drivers side footwell, so i got fed up and came inside heh. i'll get too it later. had it working for a little bit and its fucking sweet as, touch screen and everything.

only got like, 9.5 contact hours at uni and i managed to get them all on 2 days, which is pretty sweet. means i wont have any troubles doing my required 18 hours at the ato. im getting about 400 after tax a week. we get a 4.5% payrise at the beginning of july so it will go up by about another 15, and once i turn 21 in september i think ill get about another 30 a week, so im pretty chuffed with all that.

saving up money to spend on car. mwahahahah.

night night =D

dear lj

had a pretty wicked albeit tiring day.

had to wake up really early, to go to SUMMERNATS!

i've decided the name is a sham. it should be called bogan nats. because all the bogans in australia congregate in one place. it was awesome tho, there were a fucken shit load of souped up cars, big stereos, hot women etc etc. the people are SO bogan tho. there is this big strip around the place where people can just do bog laps and burnouts all day. people were just lining this street, beer in one hand telling them to do burnouts with the other, and giving people shit who didnt do burnouts. and ogling chicks and telling them to "show us yer tits". it was great.

got some good info on places where we can find stuff for the car, turbos and intercoolers and what not. bought this wicked dvd player for the rx-7, for $1700 haggled down from $2600. i think i'm just gonna stock pile all the car audio stuff, and then whack it all into the car in one fell swoop, after planning how to do the install. have to make it fully removeable so we can take it down to the race track =D

then had to work. it was busy, but not too busy, just long. had a few beers after work, and drove home.

yours sincerley

disco

car registration and insurance is a fucken pain in the arse in nsw.

in wa, my car would cost about $450 for a year. one payment. no fucking around.

in nsw for starters, registration is about $200. however, this is just registration and doesnt inclue compulsory 3rd party insurance that comes with the registration costs in wa. here, you have to get this insurance from a private insurance company, like the nrma or qbe or something like that. this is $450 by itself, and you cant actually register the car until you get the greenslip that comes with the policy (its called greenslip insurance). also, if your car is older than 5 years or something, every year you have to go get it checked for road worthiness and get a pink slip, which costs abotu $50 in itself.

so all up ill be paying about $700 for insurance, instead of $450. rah. fucking bureaucrats.

that is severely gonna dent my beer money for perth :S in fact, i might not have any money at all. cause i have to get it registered before 13th of january, and i leave on the 12th. and i dont really wanna ask my old man, i hate asking for money. ill figure something out. maybe ill sell a kidney on the black market heh.

=D

didnt really do much today. it was really muggy, so i kinda tossed and turned and didnt get a good sleep, and woke up about. had to leave for work at 1, so i was all excited to watch the cricket with a beer for a couple of hours, but it was washed out so i bummed around and went to work.

bit of a thunder storm over here during the day, so it was fucken quiet. picked up a bit in the evening, but not that much so i got home by 11 which was good, and i didnt catch the storm on the way home.

nothing on telly, but was talking to my old man about the car and about some intercooling systems, and widebody kits and stuff so i decided to draw a bit of a design/prototype for what i want the rx-7 to look like, and this is what i came up with.

didn't turn out too badly i dont think, though its a bit rough especially the funny-angled rear wing heh. ill show it to my old man in the morning, and see what he thinks. custom work is so cool :) expensive tho :S

contemplating hitting the sack. bit tired from last night, and its nice and cool now so i should sleep like a log. have to organise the rego and stuff for my car tomorrow, that could be a bit of a trek into canberra, hope its not too warm tomorrow.

SUMMERNATS IN 2 DAYS! MY 9 MONTH GOATIE HASNT GROWN FOR THE LAST 8 MONTHS! :S

in other news, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!!!

i dont have any new years resolutions as such, nothing specific anyways. so dont ask if i do. just want to work hard and save money =D

ive realised, that i really enjoy living with my dad. now dont get me wrong, i miss everyone back in perth, all my friends and family. but my dad is fucken cool. when i was growing up, i didnt really have all that much in common with him cause i was growing up and that sort of thing, and was closer to my mum than i was my dad, but now I'm a bit older and I am who I am its done a complete 180. we're both interested in cars and engineering and that sort of thing, we're both nerds who fiddle with computers, we like the peace and quiet of living in the bush, but both like going into the city or to the pub and that sort of thing. it's really quite scary how alike we are (i know i've said this before), but i was talking about it with my dad last night and even he agreed that considering that i havent lived with him for more than 2 consecutive weeks since 1989, it's quite odd that we are now so much alike.

it's a shame i cant get the best of both worlds, living with my old man while still being in perth and being around all the fellas and the ladies. but my old man says he wants to retire to perth, and i want to move back to perth after i finish this ato thingo and get some good experience there and get a nice job, so hopefully by the time im 30 i will be in the one place that i love with all my favourite people.

i believe i a 2pm fight from canberra to sydney on the 12th, and then a 6 hour wait or some shit like that in sydney :S so i figure give me thursday to recover, thursday night i wanna go see holmes mc holmes holmes at the foundry, and friday - wednesday we can party party party. also, i wanna go down to see my nan an pop in dunsborough. plus, my uncle just leased a service station in dunsborough too and i've never met him so i want to meet him too. if anyone wants to come for a drive or something like that, let us know. it's not certain, it depends on time and weather and that. but it would be nice.

shes a bit hot today, i hate how the heat draws moisture and dries you out :S

TO GOOD TIMES! CHEERS! =D

just got back from sydney. saw andy c last night. omigod, it ranks in the top 5 sets ive ever seen =D

drove down about lunch time yesterday, and arrived at about 3 or 3:30. chilled out for a bit, and then drove down to bondi. shopped with ee and leah at westfield bondi for a while, had some dinner while we were there, then went home. it was great weather in sydney, and it was a beautiful night.

bummed around for a while, watched trainspotting and some manga, then went to andy c. arrived with some bald white guy up on the decks, but he was playing a wicked set. diamond d came on shortly after, and played a progressive, bassy set to lead up to andy c. then andy c came on, and the crowd went insane, and he ripped up. he was playing new tunes, he was playing classic tunes, he was double dropping, he was selectively rewinding tracks, omigod. i was doped up on red bull and having a great time.

was meant to meet this girl there, but i was too shy. like, i saw her, shes this tall'ish, lanky, pretty blonde girl from new zealand, named holly. i kept like..... going to walk over and then chickening out. im such a shmuck :P that was the only downside for the evening, but it was still great none the less. worth the 3 hour drive to sydney.

got home aftewards, and id clearly had too many red bulls, and i couldnt sleep :S ive got like 4 hours of crap sleep, really sweaty and stuff from the caffeine and sugar and that. did the long drive home and my driving arm is like, purple. i have to work in a couple of hours, my arms is gonna like turn to charcoal and fall off in front of the pizza oven :S

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! MISS YOU ALL! SEE YOU IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS! THE TIME OF DISCO IS UPON US! =D=D=D=D

oooooooh wee bit tired, but in a reasonably good mood. worked on the car a bit for the last few days, got a bit of stuff sorted out. got rid of all the old wires from stuff that was in the car and removed, but tidied up the wiring for the turbo timer and that. cleaned up the leather gear shift boot. it's got a couple of tears in it, so i might make a new one out of vinyl or smoething, we'll see how we go. need to get new bits of a trim.

got the boost guage installed, it looks pretty shmick. once we totally finish the installed (need to get some plastic piping to hide the wires and that) ill take some photos. although for some reason now, the stock boost guage doenst work and the tacho is temperamental, even though i dont think we touched anything for those. maybe some wires at just loose or something. not overly concerned about the stock boost guage, but the tacho is a very handy thing ot have.

found out the car spikes at 10psi, which isnt too bad. means shes making a bit more power than stock (Y)(Y). have to join the rotary club of act, and get in some car cruises and motorkhanas and hill climbs and that sort of stuff. i wanna get my cams licence so i can do targa races and stuff, would be heaps of fun. me and my old man, hooning through random places =D

still have to fit the new airpod, need to go get the right adapter and a bit of 3" silicon piping for it.

going to sydney on thursday. im looking forward to seeing andy c. bit of a drive to sydney though, 2.5, 3 hours'ish. im tossing up whether to take the rx-7 (for vroom and babe pulling power) or mandy (it actually has a decent stereo, and dare i say might be a bit better on the fuel). i mean, mandy would be good to take, but i could go to sydney in the arvo and get the broken bits of a trim while im there. *ponders*

t-minus 15 days till disco time! aheaHEAHEHEHAEHeHEhEHAHE =D

t-minus 27 days till disco's soul gets sucked from the devil that is the ato :S

weeeeeeeeeeee. had an up n down day. started off getting woken up at 10am by my mum calling me. i didnt go to bed till like 3, cause i got home from work at 12 and ate and couldnt sleep. thats not overly disturbing, whats more disturbing is my mum is up at 7am. shes not working until january, so why would someone wake up that early :S

bummed around all day cause i wasnt feeling the best, till i had to go to work. on the way i got fucken EVERY set of lights, nearly got side swiped by a bus/coach thingo, and got cutoff by a guy in a crappy 80's excel pulling a trailer. what the?

work was ok, started feeling better and it was nice and cruisy mostly, with one period of insane rush. but had a good time chatting with the people at work, and had a couple of beers after. one more day, and i get a couple of days off for christmas and boxing day. meaning i get to stuff my face on saturday, and watch the cricket and drink beer on sunday (Y)(Y).

my old man bought me a couple of presents for chrissy. i didnt think he was gonna, because he already got me my wicked video card, so now i have to go buy him something tomorrow. and im buggered if i know what. this man has every fucken tool imagineable in his shed, so i cant buy him any of that. he doesnt really read books, unless i can manage to find an RX-7 performance manual tomororw (which is unlikely), so i cant really get him one of those. he doesnt listen to much music, besides oldies on the radio. :S im stumped. maybe ill get him a pair of socks and a tie. ahehaEHEHaHEHAhHEHEHEA. pink. :P

now to the more up part of my day. found out that a couple of friends from perth (lynwood people, u probably dont know them....maybe tony) are gonna be in sydney for new years. ANDY C IS PLAYING ON THURSDAY 30TH AND NOW I HAVE SOMEONE TO GO WITH SO I WONT LOOK LIKE A LONER YAY! im looking forward to it, andy c is a fucken awesome dj. should be a decent party. but i have to go to sydney, and i dont know sydney so ill get fucking lost. will be worth it though. if i can get the electric windows fixed, ill take the RX-7 for a cruise. brap brap brap brap brap.

also, summernats is coming up. RE: electric window comment above. should be good. drags, burnouts, heaps of show cars, wet t-shirt competitions, lotsa girls. gonna hit that up with my old man and his friend from work who is into cars big time. also found out a few guys at my old mans work at big car people, with wicked skills. one is a retired mechanic (he hurt is back), an other is a fully qualified welding engineer, who welds molybedenum chrome steel cages and exhausts and shit for varios people like oh i dont know, the toyota racing team and neal bates for his australia rally championship. hes got a workshop about half an hour from here next to neal bates' work shop, so ill have to check that out.

and finally, IMA COMING HOME FOR A BIT =DDDDDDD looks like middle of jan, for a week and a half or so. awwwwwwww yeaaaaaah. party party party. beer beer beer. party party party. beer beer beer. floor. but it'll be worth it. KEEP YOUR SCHEDULE OPEN!

peace

<lj:music>Start the Commotion - Start The Commotion (Edit)</lj:music>

just got home from work. loooooooong day...again. ive worked 54 hour so far this week, and ill be working another 7 or so tomorrow. at least my pay check should be decent.

havent really been doing much besides work. been fiddling with our new car. fixed the windscreen wipers yesterday, which was good but we still cant figure out what is wrong with the electric windows. the fuse isnt blown, maybe the power supply has been cut or something, i dunno.

bought a boost guage for my car yesterday (Y)(Y). autometer, 2 5/8", silver face, white/green/red backlit, 30psi, mechanical. also bought a chrome guage cup. should look pretty sweet once i get it in.

also bought a shroud/cover chromey thingo for the air filter, cause i think it sucks in a fair bit of hot air from the engine bay. however, when we got it home we found out the cone air filter that is fitted on it atmo is too long for it, so my old man went a bought another air filter today that matched it. however, upon inspection of that theres a sticker on it that says "Unsuitable for Turbo Charged Engines". Little pissed off about this, as the salesman didn't say anything about it. fucker. also bought a new high level brake light for the car. the one that is on it is cracked, so we are gonna pull it off and smash it into smitherines. or maybe just throw it in the bin, not entirely sure at the moment. instead of being a light, we got a long led cluster. it's more efficient than a light, and we can integrate it with the roof trim when we get the interior retrimmed, so it should look all sweet.

pulled off a few wires from the car. there was a wire that was spliced into the headlights, so i think that the guy has a headlight popup controller fitted, but removed it. or something else did. there was also a whole bunch of wires spliced into various places, some to plugs i dont know and a couple into the windscreen wiper wires, so i got rid of them because we dont really need them. just gonna get everything nice and neat and legal so we can re-reg it, because we have to change it from act to nsw rego.

need to pull of a wheel to check out what suspension is in the front. the guy said it had some aftermarket lowering shocks, but im not so sure. i think the springs might have just been cut, but we cant see so we'll pull it off and check. rear wheel is standard im pretty sure. does handle nice though. and i mean, for $6 grand im not gonna complain. still like, $5k short of anything else id seen advertised over here, in not much worse condition.

working tomorrow again, but not till 3 so ima have a nice sleep in, then get up and tinker with my car. actually, i might re-organised the shed with my old man so we can work on it in there, out of the heat, gonna be 35 or something tomorrow.

looks like ill be coming home in mid/late january, maybe for a week or so. we shall have to PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY. and then after that, we can party some more =D

    <lj:music>Moby - Run On</lj:music>

went for a drive in my new car today. fuck me, this thing is a pleasure to drive hey. it sits low, it handles great (i went through a large roundabout at 100k and hour), its got oodles of torque, great for overtaking cars on the highway, it brakes acceptably. for a coupe, its actually quite roomy. you can stretch your legs out really well and they are comfortable, you arms arent too close to the steering wheel or anything. my only driving complaint is i have a smaller steering wheel on, and it obstructs my view of the tacho and speedo, so i might have to get a new one or something. also the gear shift is a bit stiff because of the short shifter and it takes a bit of getting used to, but i reckon once we get the gearbox serviced and that it'll be sweet and ill be able to bang through the gears. ill be going along the highway and i cant see the needle, and all of a sudden is see it at 140 heh.

decided to see how quick she could go along the highway. cracked 180k and then decided to call it quits there. my car has a basic fuel defender cut, so i can go quicker than the jap government imposed 180k limit, but i dont wanna push things. it was very stable at that speed too, impressive. shane, you're gonna fucken love this thing when you get it hey. it'll be worth the wait chief.

took some photos too!

This is my car, scuse the dust.

15" rims, with big tyres. 205 up front, 225 up back. they are potenzas, which are a decent brand i believe. you can also see the rear drift wing. on the side skirts is the only body damage to the car, besides a few minor scratches. You can see Mandy in the background, the 626 OF DOOM MWAHAHAHAHAHAH! ahem.

Twin exhausts are a standard RX-7 feature, but they are aftermarket mufflers. RS-R or something like that, i didnt really have a good look. i dont think the exhaust piping is standard, it looks rather large but i havent had a chance to measure it yet. will do soon.

There are a few gay stickers on it, like that Mazdaspeed one, but they will be removed.

Standard body kit all around. Pop up head lights, top mounted intercooler with bonnet scoop all standard. It also has a set of aftermarket racing mirrors too, didn't spot those when I bought it.

That's me engine bay. Pretty much stock standard, with the addition of an airpod (front left) and strut brace. I'm not sure about the airpod, I think it might be sucking in hot air so I might have to get a cold air box or something. You can see the car was originally black.

That's where I get into the car. The trim of the car is in pretty good condition, like the door is. There are a few small places where like guages and stuff might have been and theres residue from the double sided tape they used to stick it to the dash, but no rips or anything like that. Carpet is in good condition, just needs a good clean. The drivers side master controller for the electric windows is broken and it keeps blowing the fuse, so the window is stuck down heh so I can't drive it into town and leave it unattended. A couple of vents for the air system are broken too and will need replacing, but again nothing major.

That's my gear shift, its got a short shift kit on it. This thing is fucken tiny, and the throw for the gears is terribly small. When I first went to drive it, I thought I couldn't find any of the gears and the gearbox was stuffed heh. Scuse the photo, my camera is shit. The shift knob is a carbon fibre mazda speed one. It's a little loose so I'll have to tighten it up, but its great to change gears with once you get used to the short shifter.

That's obviously my steering wheel, but it's smaller than standard I think. I don't think they would have a steering wheel that obstructs the guages as standard. It means a little more force is required to steer corners, but I'll gladly accept it for a bit of extra knee room heh. You can also see the HKS turbo timer on the left under the dash.

The car came with these NOS seat covers. I know they look a bit lame, but they protect the seat from the excess wear a tear generated from getting in the low car.

A nice surprise was under the driver cover was Bridge racing seat! It's a bit small in the arse (I have a large arse), but we are probably gonna replace the seats with a matching pair of racing seats anyway so it doesnt matter.

And that's my beast =D

    <lj:music>E.T.A - Casual Sub (Rennie Pilgrim And 33/45 Mix)</lj:music>

weeeeeeeeeee had a pretty good couple of days. been working like a bitch, 33hours in 3 days, and more to come :S decent pay though, and i could do with the money.

i had a theory that canberra had no hot chicks, but i have a new theory. all the hot chicks in canberra are in yarralumla. the cafe where i just started working is there, and fuck me some incredibly good looking chicks walk past. i was spinning a pizza dough and dropped it on my foot when i was perving on some chick :S luckily she didnt see heh. its hard, stressful work, but i get free lunch and dinner, and a beer or 2 after work, plus my share of the tips so its ok. everyone that has been in has complimented me on my pizzas, so its not all bad.

picked up my new car on tuesday morning =DDDDD mazda rx-7 FC, 1988 series 4. its soooooooo fucken nice to drive. drives straight, bit of a turbo lag but then takes off like a rocket, pretty roomy interior in the front for a coupe. its got rims and some suspension mods, and a few light engine mods and stuff. me and my old man are gonna do it up, we are just deciding on what course to take: show car, street legal show car, drag car or circuit car. just doing research on it to find out what would be the best. im leaning towards street legal show car, cause then i can cruise the streets and stuff, and have a uber big stereo heh.

AND i am officially a public servent =D i dont know if you've read my other posts about the ATO, but i applied for a cadetship at the ATO over here. basically, u work 2.5 days a week there and study fulltime, and they pay for your books and uni and pay you for the time there. ill be earning $25k a year, which is really like $30 when u factor in my uni. its pretty sweet, i got the position obviously. i have to do a physical soon, maybe before christmas and i start on the 24th of jan. which means i cant come over for aus day :S

my mum just bought a house in perth. shes moved back there cause my step dad (#2) got a job as the principal of some private school in murdoch. they bought a 3 bed/2bath townhouse in scarborough (the school is switching to a new campus up there in 2006), a few streets back from the beach and observation city and that. $370k or something, sounds pretty sweet, its 2 story, but no ocean views. maybe somewhere to crash if i come back for a bit and we want to hit the lookout. still keeping the ferndale house though, which is good cause id like to have that when i come back to perth.

will take some photos of the beast tomorrow.

peace.

Had a pretty decent night tonight, albeit it a tiring one. Opening night of the new cafe, and we were thinking you know, its not gonna be that busy. BIG MISTAKE. made like, 60 pizzas and more antipasto plates and shit. my feet are very sore. went really really well though, considering it was the first official night and we still havent got shit sorted out properly. working again tomorrow night, gonna be tough waking up at a reasonable hour to go to work.

we got a car today yay! my old man went and saw an rx-7 that i found in the paper, and he looked over it and took it for a test drive and bought it. $6k, fucken good price i reckon, 1988 s4 rx-7 turbo. i havent actually seen it yet, but my dad gave me a good description on it and it sounds like a decent car. not really modded, just a few minor things like air pod, turbo timer, some suspension stuff but thats about it. picking it up on monday probably, i cant wait to take it for a bash :)

on the way home, i decided my car is better than most for driving out in the country. you see, most cars these days get shit fitted like GPS and cruise control, but my car has KAPS and SDS. also known was kangaroo accident prevention system, and sleep deprivation system. more commonly known as AMCS, or after market car stereo. AEHehAEHAHEHAEh. i figure theres NO WAY im gonna fall asleep at the wheel, and the kangaroos are gonna here me coming from a mile away and run for their lives heh.

sleep ist good.

    <lj:music>Hilltop Hoods - The Certificate</lj:music>

well i've been in canberra for about 2 months now, and here are my 2 cents: it's small and boring :P havent really been out yet, but there really arent that many places to go. most people go to like, sports clubs and shit. there are a few small bars and that, but not nice big clubs like there are in perth. they people seem friendly enough though, and it is nice and relaxing so that is a plus.

looking forward to next year i think. good to get this year out of the way, get a nice fresh start. hoping to get the ato position, it would be fucken tops for me to get it, and pretty much set me up. im not gonna lose any sleep over it if i dont get it though. i think i can manage.

just starting a new job atmo, at this little bar place called "Bentham Street Bar and Pizza". It's in Yarralumla, which is like rich-peoples-ville. Red Hill is the richest suburb in Canberra, sort of like peppy grove, and Yarralumla is right next to it. I dont know what the equivalent suburb would be, but they are all rich. to put it into perspective, the lodge is in yarralumla...........thats where the pm lives when his in canberra. its just starting out, and im working as a barman and pizza cook, depending on who else is in. my bosses are an older gay couple, who are fucken loaded i believe. they havent cut any corners or anything, they got a $15k gas kiln oven put in, everything is stainless steel, they've got polished wooden floors, they have feature lighting and all sorts of shit. its primary function is a wine bar (being in rich-peoples-ville) so i think its going to be nice and cruisy. no bar fights or anything anyways.

need to start going to the gym or something. i feel unfit. i havent really put on weight or anything, but i just dont feel as fit as i was before. i would get a gym membership, but i cant justify the cost of petrol to drive into town just to go to the gym (its like a 100km round trip to go into canberra). have to wait until i start uni, so i can get a membership at the uni gym. gives me a reason to stay on campus i guess. plus i can go in with my dad to save on petrol (hes got a work car) and i can go into the gym nice and early when its quiet. quiet gym in the morning you say? well it is a uni gym, since when do uni students get up early :P

me and the old man are gonna do up a car and race it a bit, but he keeps changing his mind over what he wants. first it was an mr-2 because of it's mid-mounted engine, then it was a 180sx or a silvia, and now hes onto rx-7. i dont really mind, i just want a car thats fast heh. will keep posted, we are gonna buy it soon.

i got some photos of stuff around here

Some random sign. Hope it doesnt mean in the water tanks!

That's my house. Very bush.

That's our dining room, then hall leading to my room.

That's where art happens. I mean I cook =D

That's one dog, Winifried. Or Winnie. Or shithead.

Thats the other dog, Madeline. Or Maddy. Or poophead.

That's the view I get from next to my house, down into the ridge.

And thats the view I get on the other side of the house =D
